At the foot of the Jura, 5 km from Nyon, a pretty village that brings together the people of Givrins, made up of 70% Swiss and 30% expatriates.
The Givrins train station, which was inaugurated in 1916, takes you to Nyon in 12 minutes.
From 1435 to the nineteenth century, the town acquired mountains and forests.
Their logging and timber trade are an important source of income for the Village.
Thus, Givrins extends over 397 hectares, 12% of which is residential.
On the lower part of the village you will find the train station, the primary school, a tearoom bakery, the Auberge au Sapin and pretty village houses.
